SERVICE

Our workshop carries a full range of John Deere Service equipment, backed up by a comprehensive range of specialist service tools with lap top computers (Service Advisor) which are necessary to diagnose, calibrate and repair the latest John Deere products.

We take full advantage of the John Deere training facility where our service technicians attend regular courses to keep them up to date with new products and technical service information. To date all of our technicians have achieved certificates of merit in all courses attended.

Claytons service department hold the John Deere ‘Gold Service’ award in both the Agricultural and Groundcare workshops, the agricultural award being held and renewed every year since the scheme began in 1992. We have also had the most finalists entered into the John Deere R.O.S.E. (Recognition of Service Excellence) award for 'Technician of the Year' with George Jordan, our Service Manager winning the title in 1986.

As an ‘NSTS’ approved Sprayer Test Centre we have three fully trained examiners who can carry out sprayer tests either on your premises or in our fully equipped workshops.

All of the above help ensure that we provide the best service to our customers, by keeping downtime and repair costs to a minimum.

PARTS

Clayton's parts department carries a comprehensive stock of agricultural and groundcare parts, offering a high degree of parts availability. We carry spare parts for Dowdeswell, Hardi, Honda, John Deere, Maschio, Simba Horsch, Stihl, Viking and Westwood, and have a good range of Draper Tools. We have batteries for all makes and models of vehicles and a range of toys, clothing and merchandise from John Deere available off the shelf or via our online shop.

If we haven't the required part we will treat your order as priority.

John Deere parts not in stock are ordered via computer links to John Deere UK headquarters in Langar near Nottingham. If ordered by late afternoon they can be delivered to our depot by 7.30 am the following morning via a nightly parts delivery service. In extreme situations when John Deere Langar do not have the parts in stock they are automatically reordered via the John Deere European parts operation in Germany and normally delivered to our depot by 10.30 am, thus maintaining a next day delivery service. Our dedicated parts people although very experienced still undergo regular training at John Deere to ensure that the ever increasing demands for parts from our customer base are met with the utmost efficiency and knowledge.
